BoneOscopy highlighted during colloquium talk at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal
On Wednesday, 4 June 2025, project partner Prof. Pedro Assis from the Laboratory of Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics (LIP) gave a colloquium presentation on “Particles for Health: Improving Radiotherapy” for the Department of Physics at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal. In his talk, Prof. Assis highlighted the goals of the project, its main challenges, and some of the proposed solutions to raise awareness and inform students about techniques that combine radiotherapy and diagnostics using the same energy beam during bone cancer treatments.
