On 20-21 March 2025, the 2nd BoneOscopy kick-off meeting took place in Lisbon, Portugal where project partners met to discuss the coordination and technical aspects of the BoneOscopy project.
Project manager Gašper Jereb, a medical system software engineer with a degree in mechanical engineering, talked about the important role of Cosylab, the leading provider of cutting-edge expertise, turnkey software solutions, and electronics for the world’s most advanced systems and devices. Gašper Jereb will be responsible for designing a custom mechanical solution for the robotic structure needed for the acquisition of prompt gamma radiation. Cosylab is also tasked with the development of both a Graphical User Interface for scan control and system integration and a high-level data acquisition system for data collection management from the fully functional DAQ device/detector. It will provide software to gather data from the device, store it in a database for archiving, and offer tools for monitoring and analysing the data.
Watch the video below to listen to Gašper Jereb explaining Cosylab’s technical tasks and stay tuned as we prepare more insights on the responsibilities of BoneOscopy’s project partners!
