DESCRIPTION:CSIC hosts outreach event on EIC opportunities featuring BoneOscopy as a success case\nOn Wednesday, 15 April 2026, BoneOscopy partner CSIC (Spanish National Research Council) will organise a dedicated outreach event in Valencia to promote participation in European Innovation Council (EIC) funding opportunities, with a particular focus on the EIC Pathfinder and Accelerator programmes.\nThe event, titled Jornada pro-EIC, will take place at the I2SysBio Seminar Room (Paterna, Valencia) and will bring together researchers, innovators and funding experts to exchange knowledge on EIC calls, support services and success stories.\nAs part of the programme, Michael Seimetz (i3M-CSIC) will contribute to the panel “Inspirarse en el éxito”, where he will present BoneOscopy as a successful example of an EIC Pathfinder project. His presentation will:\n\nShowcase the collaborative pathway leading to the BoneOscopy proposal, including the partnership between i3M, DKFZ and LIP\nProvide insights into the pre-application phase and consortium building\nHighlight key achievements and essential facts about the BoneOscopy project\nOffer practical reflections for researchers preparing competitive EIC proposals\n\nThis contribution positions BoneOscopy as a reference case for interdisciplinary collaboration and successful participation in highly competitive EU funding schemes.\nThe CSIC-led event aims to:\n\nRaise awareness of EIC funding instruments and upcoming calls\nPresent institutional support services for applicants\nEnable direct interaction with EIC grant holders and experts\nEncourage researchers to engage in high-risk, high-impact innovation projects\n\nProgramme overview\nThe event will run from 10:15 to 13:45, followed by individual consultations in the afternoon, and will include:\n\nInstitutional welcome and programme overview\nDetailed information on EIC calls and application processes\nPresentation of support services by CSIC’s Pro-EIC team\nA high-level panel featuring successful EIC beneficiaries, including BoneOscopy\n\n
